Yep it’s time for a new smoothie recipe! I love that this one is bright green. It reminds me of spring and makes me happy!
Even though it’s January we are having some very spring-ish weather. This afternoon we took the chihuahuas out for a little walk. It was lovely! And then it was smoothie time!
Once again we used some spinach to give it some extra benefits. It has somewhat of a tropical taste but mostly just tastes like bananas. You can play around with portions of the fruit to find your favorite flavors.
Makes about 3-4 smoothies
16 oz Ice
1 cup Milk (cow, soy, coconut….whatever floats your boat)
1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
20 oz canned pineapple chunks, drain out half the juice or frozen pineapple
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup frozen Mango chunks
Layer everything in the blender and let it blend for about 2 minutes. The end result is super smooth and creamy.
